ABOUT ME
I’m a full-time instructional aide for junior high math at St. Brendan’s Parish School as well as an after school tutor, providing one-on-one math support for sixth-grade students.
Born and raised in San Francisco, I’ve spent much of my professional life helping others learn, grow, and find confidence—whether in classrooms, creative spaces, or hospitality. I bring over 15 years of experience in leadership, training, and education support, along with a lifelong love of learning and laughter.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me at the theater, vintage shopping, or catching a comedy show somewhere in the city.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
My approach to tutoring is rooted in patience, encouragement, and clear communication. I believe that every student can become confident in math when they’re given the right tools and a safe space to ask questions.
I focus on helping students build understanding step by step, using examples and visuals that make sense to them. Each session is designed to strengthen their problem-solving skills while also helping them feel calm, capable, and proud of their progress.
More than anything, I want my students to know that learning is a process—and that it’s okay to make mistakes along the way. Growth happens through practice, curiosity, and a little bit of humor.
